She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and received an honorary Doctorate in Divinity from Bible Believers College and Seminary. She faithful worked at Siloam Bible College as Director of the Bursar Office and served as one of the Professors. In March 2019, she accepted the NAUW Hall of Fame Honoree Award for her inspirational teachings and has been interviewed on several platforms and media outlets.
In September 2020, she published her first book "A.S.K." (Ask, Seek, Knock), an illuminating expository of Matthew 7:7. Birthed from a phone call with a friend concerning several things she had laid before the Lord, God lead Dr. Black on a journey of discovery into the depths of what it truly means to A.S.K. What started as a simple conversation has evolved into a series of biblical teachings and truths with divine revelation on how to A.S.K. without asking amiss. Now accompanied by a workbook and study guide, A.S.K brings clarity to God's people on the process of asking according to the bible’s principles and promises.
Since its release, Dr. Black has traveled across the United States hosting A.S.K. workshops, where she gives even greater revelation around the fundamental concepts of her book.
Of all of these accomplishments, she takes solace and is most honored to be known as a true worshiper who lives by the motto "I believe God and I believe everything He says”.
